Empowering Women Through Skills and Support
The Ahsas Disabled People Organization (Ahsas DPO) believes that empowering women—especially widows and women with disabilities—is essential for building strong, self-reliant communities. Through our Women Empowerment Project, we provide women with opportunities to earn a livelihood, support their families, and contribute productively to society.
Skills & Equipment
Sewing machines and essential equipment help women develop practical skills and start small home-based income-generating activities.
Financial Support
Financial assistance helps deserving women overcome economic barriers and establish small businesses according to their skills and circumstances.
Income & Independence
By learning, working, and earning, women can support their families, contribute to household expenses, and build a more secure future.
Empowering Women Through Opportunities
This initiative focuses on widows and women with disabilities who often face multiple layers of hardship, including financial dependency, limited mobility, and lack of access to vocational training.
Ahsas DPO addresses these challenges by providing sewing machines, essential equipment, and financial assistance, helping beneficiaries start small home-based businesses and income-generating activities.
Skills That Create Livelihoods
Through continuous support and monitoring, we work to ensure that each woman receives not only material assistance but also the confidence and motivation to build her own future.
Many beneficiaries have successfully started tailoring shops or home-based stitching services, enabling them to sustain their families and contribute towards the education and daily needs of their children.
Our approach: Ahsas DPO supports women according to their needs, skills, and circumstances, helping them turn practical assistance into sustainable income-generating opportunities.

The Women Empowerment Project is an ongoing effort supported by our kind donors and international partners, including International Humanitarian Relief (IHR UK), Alkhair Foundation UK, Anaya Aid UK, and BAPA Relief Singapore.
Their contributions have helped Ahsas DPO provide practical assistance and income-generating opportunities to hundreds of deserving women.

Economic independence is an important part of women's empowerment. By enabling women to learn, work, and earn, Ahsas DPO helps reduce barriers created by financial dependency and limited opportunities.
When a woman gains the ability to earn, the benefits can extend beyond her household and contribute to stronger and more resilient communities.
خواتین کو بااختیار بنانے کا منصوبہ
احساس ڈسیبلڈ پیپل آرگنائزیشن کا یقین ہے کہ خواتین کو بااختیار بنانا، خصوصاً بیوہ خواتین اور معذوری کی شکار خواتین کو، مضبوط اور خود مختار معاشروں کی تعمیر کے لیے ضروری ہے۔ اپنے ویمن ایمپاورمنٹ پروجیکٹ کے ذریعے ہم خواتین کو روزگار کمانے، اپنے خاندانوں کی مدد کرنے اور معاشرے میں مثبت کردار ادا کرنے کے مواقع فراہم کرتے ہیں۔

مسلسل مدد اور نگرانی کے ذریعے ہم یہ یقینی بنانے کی کوشش کرتے ہیں کہ ہر خاتون نہ صرف مادی تعاون حاصل کرے بلکہ اپنے مستقبل کی تعمیر کے لیے اعتماد اور حوصلہ بھی پائے۔ اس پروگرام سے فائدہ اٹھانے والی کئی خواتین نے کامیابی سے درزی کی دکانیں یا گھروں میں سلائی کا کاروبار شروع کیا، جس سے وہ اپنے خاندانوں کی کفالت اور اپنے بچوں کی تعلیم کے اخراجات پورے کرنے میں مدد حاصل کر رہی ہیں۔
ویمن ایمپاورمنٹ پروجیکٹ ایک جاری کوشش ہے جو ہمارے مہربان ڈونرز اور بین الاقوامی شراکت داروں کی حمایت سے ممکن ہوئی ہے، جن میں انٹرنیشنل ہیومنٹیرین ریلیف (IHR UK)، الخیر فاؤنڈیشن UK، انایا ایڈ UK، اور باپا ریلیف سنگاپور شامل ہیں۔ ان کی معاونت نے سینکڑوں مستحق خواتین کے لیے عملی مدد اور آمدنی کے مواقع پیدا کرنے میں اہم کردار ادا کیا ہے۔
احساس ڈی پی او سمجھتا ہے کہ معاشی خود مختاری خواتین کو بااختیار بنانے کا ایک اہم ذریعہ ہے۔ خواتین کو سیکھنے، کام کرنے اور کمانے کے مواقع فراہم کر کے ہم انہیں مالی انحصار اور محدود مواقع کی رکاوٹوں سے آگے بڑھنے میں مدد دیتے ہیں تاکہ وہ اپنے خاندانوں اور معاشروں میں مثبت کردار ادا کر سکیں۔
