WINTER PACKS PROJECT
During harsh winter months, thousands of families across Pakistan struggle to stay warm—especially those living in poverty, remote regions, temporary shelters, or homes without proper heating. Persons with disabilities, widows, orphans, elderly individuals, and low-income households are among those most vulnerable, as they often lack the financial means to purchase warm clothing, blankets, or heating essentials.

Winter Essentials
Winter packs may include warm blankets, sweaters, jackets, shawls, socks, caps, bedding, and other essential winter necessities.
Protection from Cold
Providing essential winter supplies can help vulnerable families stay warm and reduce their exposure to the harsh effects of severe cold.
Supporting Families During Winter
Ahsas Disabled People Organization (ADPO) supports vulnerable families through the Winter Packs Project, providing essential items to people who may not have the financial means to purchase adequate winter clothing, blankets, bedding, or other necessities.
The project focuses particularly on families living in poverty, remote regions, temporary shelters, or homes without proper heating facilities. Persons with disabilities, widows, orphans, elderly individuals, and low-income households are among those who can face greater challenges during the winter season.
Providing Essential Winter Items
Winter packs may include: warm blankets, sweaters, jackets, shawls, socks, caps, bedding, and other winter necessities according to the needs of beneficiary families.
These essential items are intended to help families protect themselves from severe cold and provide greater warmth and comfort during the winter months.
Protecting Vulnerable People
Severe cold can create additional difficulties for children, persons with disabilities, elderly individuals, and families living in vulnerable conditions. Many households cannot afford the warm clothing, blankets, and other supplies needed to cope with the winter season.
Through donor support, Ahsas DPO helps reach deserving families and provide practical winter assistance where it is most needed.

Winter packs can help protect people from exposure to severe cold and may contribute to reducing seasonal health risks associated with cold weather, including pneumonia, influenza, joint pains, and breathing problems.
By providing basic winter necessities, the project aims to help vulnerable families face the winter season with greater safety, comfort, and security.

سردیوں کے شدید موسم میں پاکستان بھر کی ہزاروں غریب اور پسماندہ خاندان شدید مشکلات کا شکار ہوتے ہیں، خصوصاً وہ جو دور دراز علاقوں، عارضی رہائش یا بغیر مناسب ہیٹنگ کے گھروں میں رہتے ہیں۔ معذور افراد، بیوہ خواتین، یتیم بچے، بزرگ اور کم آمدنی والے گھرانے سب سے زیادہ متاثر ہوتے ہیں کیونکہ وہ گرم کپڑے، کمبل یا دیگر ضروری اشیاء خریدنے کی استطاعت نہیں رکھتے۔
احساس ڈس ایبلڈ پیپل آرگنائزیشن سردیوں میں ان ضرورت مند خاندانوں کی مدد کے لیے ونٹر پیکس تقسیم کرتی ہے، جن میں گرم کمبل، سوئٹر، جیکٹس، شالیں، جرابیں، ٹوپیاں، بستر اور دیگر ضروری سامان شامل ہوتا ہے۔
یہ پیک نہ صرف شدید موسم سے بچانے میں مدد دیتے ہیں بلکہ نمونیا، فلو، جوڑوں کے درد اور سانس کی بیماریوں جیسے مسائل کے خطرات کو کم کرنے میں بھی معاون ثابت ہو سکتے ہیں، جو بچوں، معذور افراد اور بزرگوں کے لیے زیادہ نقصان دہ ہو سکتے ہیں۔
مخیر حضرات کی مدد سے احساس ان ضرورت مند خاندانوں تک گرمی، سہارا اور امید پہنچاتا ہے، تاکہ وہ سردیوں کا مقابلہ محفوظ اور آرام دہ ماحول میں کر سکیں۔
