Marriage Sponsorship Program – A Story of Hope Rashida Bibi, a woman with a disability living in Pakistan, lost her husband 15 years ago. Since then, life has been a continuous struggle. With limited mobility and no stable source of income, she became entirely dependent on the kindness of people around her to survive. Her greatest worry was the future of her 19-year-old daughter. As the marriage date drew closer, Rashida Bibi found herself empty-handed, burdened with anxiety and fear. Despite her efforts, she had no means to arrange even the most basic necessities for her daughter’s marriage. In this moment of distress, Rashida Bibi approached the IHR Pakistan office, seeking support with a heavy heart but hopeful faith. By the grace of Allah and the generosity of one of our kind donors, her daughter’s marriage was fully sponsored. Today, the family has received all the essential items required for the wedding, restoring dignity, relief, and happiness to a household that had known only hardship for years. This support did more than provide material assistance—it gave a widowed, disabled mother peace of mind and allowed an orphan girl to begin her new life with respect and hope. We humbly appeal to our donors and supporters to come forward and help us support more orphan and vulnerable girls. رشیدہ بی بی، جو پاکستان میں رہنے والی ایک معذور خاتون ہیں، پندرہ سال قبل اپنے شوہر سے محروم ہو گئیں۔ اس کے بعد سے زندگی مسلسل جدوجہد کا نام رہی۔ محدود جسمانی صلاحیت اور مستقل آمدن نہ ہونے کے باعث وہ اپنی بقا کے لیے اردگرد کے لوگوں کی مدد پر مکمل طور پر انحصار کرنے پر مجبور تھیں۔
ان کی سب سے بڑی فکر اپنی 19 سالہ بیٹی کا مستقبل تھا۔ جیسے جیسے شادی کی تاریخ قریب آتی گئی، رشیدہ بی بی خالی ہاتھ اور شدید پریشانی و خوف میں مبتلا ہوتی گئیں۔ بھرپور کوششوں کے باوجود وہ اپنی بیٹی کی شادی کے لیے بنیادی ضروریات تک کا انتظام کرنے سے قاصر تھیں۔
اسی کٹھن لمحے میں رشیدہ بی بی نے بوجھل دل مگر پُر امید ایمان کے ساتھ IHR پاکستان کے دفتر سے رجوع کیا۔ اللہ کے فضل و کرم اور ہمارے ایک مہربان ڈونر کی سخاوت سے ان کی بیٹی کی شادی مکمل طور پر اسپانسر کی گئی۔ آج اس خاندان کو شادی کے لیے درکار تمام ضروری سامان فراہم کر دیا گیا ہے، جس سے اس گھر میں عزت، سکون اور خوشی لوٹ آئی ہے جو برسوں سے مشکلات کا شکار تھا۔
یہ مدد صرف مادی معاونت نہیں تھی، بلکہ اس نے ایک بیوہ اور معذور ماں کو ذہنی سکون دیا اور ایک یتیم بچی کو عزت اور اُمید کے ساتھ اپنی نئی زندگی شروع کرنے کا موقع فراہم کیا۔
