During harsh winter months, thousands of families across Pakistan struggle to stay warm—especially those living in poverty, remote regions, temporary shelters, or homes without proper heating. Persons with disabilities, widows, orphans, elderly individuals, and low-income households are most vulnerable, as they often lack the financial means to purchase warm clothing, blankets, or heating essentials. Ahsas Disabled People Organization (ADPO) supports these families through the Winter Packs Project, distributing warm blankets, sweaters, jackets, shawls, socks, caps, bedding, and other winter necessities. These packs not only protect people from severe cold but also prevent seasonal illnesses such as pneumonia, influenza, joint pains, and breathing problems, which are more dangerous for children, disabled individuals, and the elderly. With the kindness of donors and supporting partners, ADPO brings warmth, relief, and hope to families in need—ensuring they face winter with dignity, safety, and comfort.

سردیوں کے شدید موسم میں پاکستان بھر کی ہزاروں غریب اور پسماندہ خاندان شدید مشکلات کا شکار ہوتے ہیں، خصوصاً وہ جو دور دراز علاقوں، عارضی رہائش یا بغیر مناسب ہیٹنگ کے گھروں میں رہتے ہیں۔ معذور افراد، بیوہ خواتین، یتیم بچے، بزرگ اور کم آمدنی والے گھرانے سب سے زیادہ متاثر ہوتے ہیں کیونکہ وہ گرم کپڑے، کمبل یا دیگر ضروری اشیاء خریدنے کی استطاعت نہیں رکھتے۔ احساس ڈس ایبلڈ پیپل آرگنائزیشن سردیوں میں ان ضرورت مند خاندانوں کی مدد کے لیے ونٹر پیکس تقسیم کرتی ہے، جن میں گرم کمبل، سوئٹر، جیکٹس، شالیں، جرابیں، ٹوپیاں، بستر اور دیگر ضروری سامان شامل ہوتا ہے۔ یہ پیک نہ صرف شدید موسم سے بچاتے ہیں بلکہ نمونیا، فلو، جوڑوں کے درد اور سانس کی بیماریوں جیسے مسائل سے بھی حفاظت فراہم کرتے ہیں، جو بچوں، معذور افراد اور بزرگوں کے لیے مزید خطرناک ہوتے ہیں۔ مخیر حضرات کی مدد سے احساس ان ضرورت مند خاندانوں تک گرمی، سہارا اور امید پہنچاتا ہے، تاکہ وہ سردیوں کا مقابلہ عزت اور تحفظ کے ساتھ کر سکیں۔
