Siddique Ahmad – Founder & CEO

Born on March 1st, 1984, in the remote village of Ichhrian, District Mansehra, Siddique Ahmad’s early life was marked by poverty, struggle, and physical disability. His father, Ghulam Nabi, served as the village Imam—a man of faith with limited means. From the very beginning, Siddique faced a world that judged him for his body before seeing his heart.

Despite these challenges, Siddique refused to give in. He excelled in school, earning first position in every class and overcoming physical limitations with the help of friends and mentors. Inam ul Haq, a fellow student, carried his school bag for eight years, while kind-hearted drivers like Khadi Khan ensured he could travel safely to school and college.

Siddique’s thirst for knowledge went beyond the classroom. He cultivated his skills in poetry, writing, painting, electronics, tailoring, and antique collection, building creativity and sensitivity into his identity. In 2002, he opened his first business, Global Computer Academy, offering computer education and technology services to his community.

But the defining moment came on October 8th, 2005, when a massive earthquake devastated Mansehra. Witnessing widespread suffering and the urgent needs of disabled, orphaned, and vulnerable people, Siddique laid the foundation for Ahsas Disabled People Organization—a vision to provide mobility, education, food support, emergency relief, and inclusion for all persons with disabilities across Pakistan.

Under his leadership, Ahsas has grown to reach thousands of lives each year, with offices in Islamabad, Mansehra, New City Wah, and Gilgit. Siddique’s mission remains unwavering: to ensure that mobility, access, and opportunities are recognized as fundamental rights for every person with a disability, while inspiring communities to act with compassion and inclusivity.

1 مارچ 1984 کو تحصیل منسہرہ کے گاؤں اِچھریان میں پیدا ہونے والے صدیق احمد کی زندگی ابتدا ہی سے غربت، مشکلات اور جسمانی معذوری کے ساتھ گزری۔ ان کے والد، غلام نبی، گاؤں کے امام تھے—ایک باایمان شخص جن کے وسائل محدود تھے۔ دنیا نے ہمیشہ ان کے جسم کو دیکھا، دل کو نہیں۔

لیکن صدیق احمد نے کبھی ہار نہیں مانی۔ انہوں نے ہر کلاس میں اول پوزیشن حاصل کی اور اپنے جسمانی مسائل کے باوجود تعلیم میں نمایاں کارکردگی دکھائی۔ ان کے دوست اور رہنما بھی ان کے سفر میں مددگار ثابت ہوئے—انعام الحق نے آٹھ سال تک روزانہ ان کا اسکول بیگ اٹھایا، اور خیر دل ڈرائیور خادی خان نے ہمیشہ انہیں محفوظ سفر کی ضمانت دی۔

علم کی پیاس نے صدیق احمد کو صرف کلاس روم تک محدود نہیں رکھا۔ انہوں نے شاعری، تحریر، مصوری، الیکٹرانکس، سلائی اور قدیم اشیاء کے جمع کرنے میں مہارت حاصل کی، اور اپنی تخلیقی صلاحیت اور حساسیت کو اپنی شناخت بنایا۔

2002 میں انہوں نے اپنی پہلی کاروباری کوشش، گلوبل کمپیوٹر اکیڈمی، شروع کی، جو کمیونٹی کو کمپیوٹر تعلیم اور ٹیکنالوجی خدمات فراہم کرتی تھی۔

لیکن اصل موڑ آیا 8 اکتوبر 2005 کو، جب منسہرہ میں زلزلے نے تباہی مچائی۔ صدیق احمد نے معذور، یتیم، اور پسماندہ افراد کی فوری ضروریات دیکھی اور احساس معذور افراد کی تنظیم کی بنیاد رکھی۔ ان کا وژن تھا: معذور افراد کے لیے حرکت، تعلیم، خوراک، ہنگامی امداد، اور معاشرتی شمولیت ممکن بنانا۔

ان کی قیادت میں، احساس ہر سال ہزاروں افراد کی زندگیوں تک پہنچ رہا ہے، اور ادارے کے دفاتر اسلام آباد، مانسہرہ، نیو سٹی واہ، اور گلگت میں موجود ہیں۔ صدیق احمد کا مشن آج بھی ایک جیسا ہے: ہر معذور شخص کے لیے تحرک، رسائی، اور مواقع کو بنیادی حقوق کے طور پر تسلیم کرنا اور کمیونٹیز کو ہمدردی اور شمولیت کی تحریک دینا۔
